Medical Director, FAAD, Board Certified Dermatologist
I wholeheartedly welcome you to Advanced Dermatology and Laser Institute of Seattle. Our vision was to establish a small private medical and cosmetic dermatology clinic serving all ages and ethnic groups, completely dedicated to the highest standards in medical care and service delivery. We have put together a highly select and experienced group of health providers who share this vision. We are purposely small, so that we are able to work together like a family guided by a singular focus and passion: to serve you, our dermatology patients, in a manner where you are given the time needed to evaluate your concerns and the time needed to develop and provide you an effective clinical treatment plan. Whether you come to us with eczema or wrinkles or a skin cancer scare, your concerns are our concerns. You will be treated with that old-fashioned quality care combined with providing you the most recent advances in dermatologic services. From the moment you enter our comfortable and inviting reception room and are evaluated in our modern exam rooms equipped with the latest modalities, you can feel assured that you will be listened to, reviewed comprehensively, educated, and treated in a compassionate manner by all our team members. As a clinical dermatologist with over twenty-five years of experience, I personally am on site daily to provide dermatology care and to supervise our team members ensuring that all our treatments meet and exceed standards of medical care.
I feel so fortunate to have completed my Dermatology residency and fellowship at the renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and have maintained close ties with my fellow colleagues all over the country who continue in their scientific and clinical pursuit of dermatologic excellence. Prior to opening Advanced Dermatology and Laser Institute of Seattle, I spent the last two years training and working alongside the most highly respected dermatology clinicians, researchers, and scientists all over the U.S. enabling me to provide you with the most up-to-date treatment modalities and procedures for medical and cosmetic dermatology.
This is an exciting time in dermatology practice. Clinical research is producing effective results in all kinds of skin conditions, and especially in the area of cosmetic dermatology, allowing my team and I to provide you with the highest level of dermatologic treatments. At our Institute, we are participating with my dermatology colleagues all over the country to discover even more advances and treatment protocols.
I am happy to share my team members' bios with you below and very proud that we all share the mission to serve you with the highest integrity and care.

Front Office Business and Communications Manager
For the past three years at ADLIS, my role has evolved from working with patients as a Communications Specialist to assisting in our practice's marketing and administrative needs. A valuable component of ADLIS is education. My love for writing is utilized by providing our patients with educational resources on services, products, and the latest news in all things dermatology. Writing on such a scientifically dynamic topic inspires me to learn more every day. I feel lucky to be surrounded by staff who go above and beyond supporting one another to deliver the highest standards of care. At ADLIS, our employees represent what this practice stands for personable, professional service always!
In my free time I enjoy reading murder mystery novels, attempting crossword puzzles, and exploring nearby Washington destinations like Mt. Rainier and the Olympic Peninsula.
As the ADLIS Practice Manager, my number one goal is to be creating an environment that fosters patients for a life time, as well as long term staff retention, while also facilitating the short and long term goals of the practice itself. The avenues in which I try to obtain these goals is through compassion, education and implementing leading edge technologies in both skin health and skin rejuvenation.
Important to all businesses and crucial to patient retention is having a top notch team! We are extremely proud of our team and encourage them to be their best selves - personally and professionally. I strive to create an environment for our team in which they have opportunities to learn, advance their credentials, be creative and think outside the box - we cannot have a successful business without successful team members!
I have an extensive background in Practice Management with the last 20+ years in the Periodontal field, which I am still active in and work 2 days with Dr. Jeanne Bertino DMD as well as Consulting work in the dental community.
In my spare time I enjoy traveling, skiing and spending time with my family and friends.

Certified Medical Assistant
Sheila is a highly valued team member at Advanced Dermatology and her advanced knowledge and disciplined work ethic speaks to years of skincare experience. A background in cosmetology led Sheila to transition from the salon world to the inside of exam rooms. In addition to her excellent technical skills, Sheila's compassionate manner is highly regarded by patients who constantly express how greatly they appreciate her genuine care for relieving their suffering from various dermatologic conditions as well as her devotion to improving their other skin concerns. Not only does Sheila assist Dr. Greene with cutting-edge treatments and surgeries, but she manages the clinical aspects of our office as well. Off the job, Sheila enjoys spending time with family, exploring new Seattle eateries, and watching the latest Disney movies with her three year old son, Elijah.
"I love working with people who feel more like family to me than co-workers. Advanced Dermatology is all about making our patients feel the same way."
I am fortunate to have joined the team at Advanced Dermatology back in May of 2016. In my 16 years of working in the medical cosmetic field, I never thought I would find an office with a physician and employees that genuinely care about our patient's success. Seeing my patients skin, self-esteem and confidence improve over the duration of our time together, is the thing I love most about my job. I am constantly researching new treatments and skincare to bring in to the practice that will benefit our patient's success even further.
In my free time I enjoy going to sporting events and concerts, gardening, dancing and spending time with my 5 children, family and friends.
Medical Assistant Certified
I am so excited to have joined the dedicated staff here at Advanced Dermatology. Honestly, working here has been my dream come true. I have always enjoyed working with people, and being able to utilize my interpersonal skills to exceed patient satisfaction is only made possible thanks to the incredible team work demonstrated in this clinic.
I believe that compassion is one of the main qualities needed in order to be successful in the medical field. I have gained this attribute by appreciating the struggle in life's journey. Being able to put myself in other people's shoes has been a strong skillset of mine. What made me interested in skin care was the many years of unresolved acne that I have endured. I wanted to learn how to take better care of my skin and to eventually help others.
My first stop in skin care education was becoming a Licensed Esthetician in 2011. I then received my Associates Degree in Medical Assisting in August 2016 from Highline College. I also have over twelve years of customer service and management experience that I incorporate with daily patient interaction.
In my free time I enjoy spending as much time as I can with my three year old daughter, Makenna. I also enjoy camping up on Mount Rainier, traveling with my family and continuing my education in the medical field.
